Natural Forest is independently certified by the Rainforest Alliance, the world’s largest FSC forestlands certifier.
The SmartWood program sets the standard for credibility in auditing environmentally and socially responsible forestry practice. We distribute certified softwood lumber from well-managed FSC forests in British Columbia, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, Oregon and Washington. The species include Douglas fir, inland red cedar, western red cedar and white fir.
Products
We distribute only FSC-certified products. Our chain-of-custody certification assures you that the lumber you purchase comes from a responsibly managed forest.
We stock kiln-dried dimension lumber, green timbers, pre-cuts, panels, engineered and specialty products in Douglas fir, inland red cedar and white fir. We carry Glulam beams in stock and can special order custom beams. Natural Forest has a huge inventory of lumber on the ground ready to ship to you today.
Education
The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is a nonprofit organization devoted to encouraging the responsible management of the world's forests.
Responsible forest management means forests are managed in a way that protects the water, soil and wildlife. It means communities, indigenous peoples, forest workers, industry players, forest owners agree on how the forest will be managed. And it means people can continue to work, live and earn an income from the forest.
